Pastoral Counseling
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
East Lake's Pastoral Counseling Ministry is provided to assist people as they grow into spiritual and emotional maturity through biblical understanding, inner healing, relational authenticity, and spiritual formation. Mary Ann St John provides individual, couple, pre-marital, and family counseling, as well as opportunities to participate in various small group sessions focusing on a variety of topics. If you have any counseling questions or concerns, or if you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact the church office and talk with Greta. You may also email Mary Ann at counseling@eastlakeonline.com.
Congregational Health
"And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
East Lake's Congregational Health Ministry strives to meet the pressing need for physical healing and health information that promotes healthy living and assists those with medical needs. We sponsor blood drives, offer health-related and safety classes, and provide health screenings and counseling through our Congregational Health Nurse, Greta Shealy, RN BSN and other nurses and health care professionals. As our Faith Community Nurse, Greta can help make referrals, discuss your health care needs and help you stay connected to Christ and your East Lake family. If you would like someone to visit you in the hospital or at home, or if you have health concerns and would like to speak to a nurse, call the church office Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or email Greta.
Prayer and Support
Any attender of ELCC may request prayer. You can make this request and the elders and our staff and prayer team will pray for you. Contact the church office at 749-9298 or email feel.free@eastlakeonline.com. You may keep your prayer request confidential if you prefer.
Benevolence
East Lake has funds available to assist our regular attenders and partners during times of financial crisis. If you need help with your bills or basic needs, download and complete our application and return it to the church office.
Peacemaking Team
"If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18).
The Peacemaking Team exists to enable all people at East Lake to resolve conflict and sin issues biblically and to be restored to a right relationship with God and man. Anyone who is a member of the East Lake family can request assistance from the Peacemaking Team, for themselves or for someone else. If you would like to speak to someone who could help you resolve conflict at home, at work or at East Lake, contact the team at peacemaking@eastlakeonline.com. Learn more about the Peacemaking Team here.
