FamJam (First Saturday of the month, October-December and February-June)

FamJam is a vital part of our strategy to enable all families to realize their full potential in Jesus Christ. On the first Saturday of each month, parents and kids fellowship, eat, learn, laugh, and worship together during an hour-long creative adventure that features interactive drama, music, creative Bible teaching, games, prizes and a whole lot of fun! Along the way, parents and kids will develop a common faith language that will enable them to discuss and apply Biblical principles –such as love, faith, humility, and honesty – to their everyday life.

But FamJam isn’t just another church program. It’s an opportunity for people in our church to experience God as they serve one another, build community, and invite families to engage God together. The people who make FamJam go are everyday people with jobs and families who give their time to build sets, write scripts, sell concessions, memorize lines, sing, dance, make people feel welcome, decorate the lobby, pull together props and costumes, act, teach, clean up, set up, tear down, and much, much more. Together, we are committed to making East Lake a place where families are committed and equipped to following Jesus.
