Cuddle Cove: Nursery (birth to walking)
Our Sunday morning volunteers do everything they can to make sure your child is happy and safe in our care. We maintain a one-to-three adult-infant ratio in our nursery and require workers to be at least 16 yrs. Old.

Cuddle Cove: Toddlers (walking to talking)
Once children are walking steadily they are ready to safely enjoy the activities of the Toddler class. Children in the Toddler class engage in supervised free play for the majority of the class time. A brief lesson activity and simple snack is provided each week to help prepare them for participation in the Tikes class. We maintain a one-to-five worker-child ratio in the Toddler class. Student workers assist in this class under adult supervision.

Cuddle Cove: Tikes (talking to 3 before September 1)
When children are ready to engage with a teacher and other children, we promote them to the Tikes class. Generally this is sometime after their second birthday and around the time they begin potty training. In this age group, we use “My First Look” curriculum to introduce the Tikes to key Bible stories and fats. Though children begin and end the class with free play, the majority of the class time is spent in structured activities including snack that reinforces the lesson. Crafts and take-home sheets provide an opportunity for parents to reinforce and apply lessons at home. We maintain a one-to-five worker-child ratio in the Tikes class. Student workers assist in this class under adult supervision. Children promote to Treasure Cove at the end of the summer is they are 3 before September 1.

Treasure Cove: (ages 3-Pre-K)
We continue with the “My First Look” curriculum for our preschoolers and spend the entire time in structured learning activities. Preschoolers begin participating in small groups at this point and can become quite attached to their small group leaders and friends. Because of this, we strongly encourage families to commit to a specific hour and come at that time each week to get the best benefit for their children. Crafts, snacks, games, and songs all reinforce the story and “bottom line” for the week. Crafts and take-home sheets provide an opportunity for parents to reinforce and apply lessons at home. We promote children to Kindergarten at church when they begin Kindergarten at school: the fall they are 5 by September 1.
